ZT BOX Privacy Policy

Overview

ZXT Labs provides ZT BOX, a publicly available inventory, storage, and box-management tool for individuals and businesses. This policy explains the information we process when you use the ZT BOX app, website, Demo Mode, or related support services.

Information we process

We process account details such as your name, optional phone number, email address, and secure account authentication records. ZT BOX uses an email address and password as its primary account credentials. Passwords are stored only as one-way password hashes; we do not store plaintext passwords. Email verification codes may be processed only for account recovery, email verification, passwordless sign-in when enabled, or sensitive actions. We also process workspace content you create, including item, product, inventory, box, packing, and task records; in-app searches; subscription-entitlement records such as product and transaction identifiers, purchase and expiration dates, storefront, and transaction environment; and limited device, security, request, and diagnostic information needed to operate the service.

Camera, scanning, and photos

ZT BOX asks for camera permission only when you choose a scanning or photo feature. Recognized barcode values may be used to search or update your workspace. Photos are uploaded only when you choose to attach them. You can deny camera access and use available manual search and entry options.

How we use information

Information is used to authenticate accounts, create and protect your workspace, sync your records, provide search and scanning, validate subscription access, restore purchases, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, investigate errors, and maintain service reliability. Search terms and standard server request logs may be retained for these app-functionality, security, and diagnostic purposes. We do not use this information to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

Service providers and sharing

We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising. We disclose only the information necessary to service providers that support hosting, secure sign-in, purchase validation, and technical support, or when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service. Apple processes App Store purchases under Apple's own privacy policy; ZXT Labs does not receive your full payment-card details.

Demo Mode

Demo Mode uses sample data stored separately from production account data. Actions performed in Demo Mode do not modify another user's workspace or production inventory.

Retention, access, and account deletion

We retain information only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet security and legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You can update available account details in the app. To request deletion of your ZT BOX account, contact us by email or through the ZT BOX Support page below. Deleting a ZT BOX account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription; subscriptions can be managed in your Apple account.

Website and security

This website and this privacy policy do not require an account and do not use advertising cookies. Standard technical request information may be processed by our hosting provider to deliver the site securely and prevent abuse. We use transport encryption and access controls, but no method of storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security.

Children and policy changes

ZT BOX is not directed to children. We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change; the effective date above will identify the latest revision.
